JUVE Award 2006 "IP Law Firm of the Year"
November 2006:
LSG wins JUVE award
"Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year"
JUVE gives the following reasons for this award:
"The fame resounds like a crash of thunder": Lorenz Seidler Gossel. The belligerency of the versatile Munich IP boutique is a national legend and puts fear into the hearts of competitors. Their clients love them for it. One of them praises Prof. Dr. Reinhard Ingerl as follows, for instance, "Very exact, fast and effective, great vigor in unfair competition disputes because he is respected as a hard, but fair adversary." Another of the partners who has long been recommended is Dr. Siegfried Jackermeier who obtains "excellent results" for his clients. "A super boutique and a professionally exemplary service," is another comment on the firm as a whole.
However, last year the spotlight was primarily on the younger generation. Dr. Christian Raßmann was practically ubiquitous in representing FIFA. And even though the football federation suffered a defeat against Ferrero in the case of "Fußball WM 2006" and "WM 2006" (Football World Cup 2006 and World Cup 2006) before the Federal Court of Justice just before the World Cup started: his name had long become a byword in the industry. The young partner Dr. Philipp Neuwald has also long been one of the recommended trademark and competition lawyers in the law firm.
Even if the representation of FIFA developed a huge PR effect, FIFA is by no means the largest client. The list of names of clients who have mostly been represented for years is long and illustrious: Adidas-Salomon, Casio, O2, Siemens, Ford Germany and Jaguar, to name but a few. Reebok recently also became a client through Adidas. However, it must also be remembered that Lorenz Seidler Gossel does not only have a strong reputation in trademark and competition law, but has also long had a number of prestigious clients in patent matters - including Ford, Fresenius Medical Care, Bulthaup, Faun, Blizzard, Mazda and Liebherr. These clients are frequently represented in patent infringement proceedings in the versatile law firm, in close cooperation with the firm's own patent attorneys. The application side of business is also seen as very stable and covers a wide technical range.
The next generation is also in the starting blocks: Four new associates joined the practice last year alone. If the law firm continues to grow at the same rate, it will also still be the center of attention for a long time in the future: After all, they have a name to defend."
